Kangana Ranaut failed time impress the audience this time with her last release Rangoon. The film was helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj, featured Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles. This love triangle saga didn’t manage to attract audiences heart and failed miserably at the box office. The life time collection of the film is 20.68 crore which is very disappointing.  Anushka Sharma’s Phillauri released last Friday and it has been winning audiences hearts. The film has so far earned 21. 03 crore and there is no stopping. With this collection Anushka’s Phillauri defeated Kangana Ranaut’s life time business. Rangoon was a huge budget film and the audiences had a lot of hope for this film. In fact the casting of the film itself made the fans super excited. Talking about Phillauri, the film was made in the budget of 21 crore and now its already earning its profits. In fact the film has already earned 12 crore in terms of satellite and music rights. Talking about the detailed collection of the film,  trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted , “#Phillauri Fri 4.02 cr, Sat 5.20 cr, Sun 6.03 cr, Mon 2.02 cr, Tue 1.95 cr, Wed 1.81 cr. Total: ₹ 21.03 cr. India biz. Also the film had a solid weekend and defeated the first weekend collection of women-centric films like NH10 (Rs 13.25 crore), Kahaani (15 crore), Sarbjit (Rs 13.96 crore) and Tanu Weds Manu (Rs 11.27 crore).  Now let’s wait and watch if Phillauri continues this magic run as Naam Shabana is all set to release this Friday and the critics have given thumbs up to the film.

Talking about the film, Anushka plays a friendly ghost in the film and her performance is indeed appreciable. But the star of the film is Diljit Dosanjh; this man has all the charm to keep you hooked onscreen. Also their chemistry in the film is fantabulous; the love story of them is unusual and loving. The film indeed brings a smile on your face.
