Prabhas’ Saaho has become a little bigger than it already was with Bhushan Kumar of T-Series coming on board to present the film. The action entertainer is directed by Sujeeth Reddy and produced by UV Creations, one of the biggest production house in South India and now with the added muscle of T-Series, there is no doubt that this Prabhas – Shraddha Kapoor starrer will reach far and wide. The film is slated for a 2019 summer release, as earlier reported by

Prabhas has become a sensation in the entire country and the audience in the North have discovered a new star after the humongous success of Baahubali. Therefore, it is only befitting that T-Series has come on board to make sure that the film’s Hindi version is presented well through massive number of screens, to ensure all Prabhas fans get to experience the magic – Saaho. Talking about the collaboration, Bhushan Kumar said, “The universality of ‘Saaho’ is what appealed to me. While Prabhas is a pan India star, the film’s content and its treatment will give it a global appeal. It is an exciting collaboration and we are looking forward to present the film to our Hindi audience,” as reported by Times of India.

Interestingly, earlier this year we heard reports of how the makers of the multi-lingual film Saaho rejected a Rs 240-crore deal offered by T Series. The deal comprises theatrical rights of the film in all the four languages – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi – it is releasing in. We heard that the makers were looking at a figure more than Rs 270 and therefore turned down the offer made by Bhushan Kumar. As of now, there is no news about how much the makers have fetched for Saaho’s theatrical rights in the current deal. But it may well be around Rs 300 crore looking at the kind of buzz around and magnanimity of the project.

The film is currently being shot in Abu Dhabi and the schedule will go on for a little over a month. Production designer Sabu Cyril has spent the past three months working on the sets, where the team will shoot an important chase sequence. Apart from Prabhas, Saaho boasts on an ensemble cast comprising Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar and Chunky Pandey.
