Global icon Priyanka Chopra, who is also United Nations Children’s Fund’s (UNICEF) Goodwill Ambassador for child rights, is associated with a number of social causes, which has brought her to Kutupalong and Rohingya, refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar (Bangladesh), two of the largest refugee camps in the world. The actress took to her Instagram profile to share pics from the field trip on Monday. In one of the pics, Priyanka is seen in a UNICEF t-shirt and with a stole on her head covering it. She is seen interacting with the kids, who she met and greeted with a bright smile.
She wrote about the atrocities and difficulties that the refugees have to face in her Instagram post and thus also used the medium to urge people to support the children. She wrote, “These children are at the forefront of this humanitarian crisis, and they desperately need our help. The world needs to care. We need to care. These kids are our future.”

Prior to sharing the aforementioned pic, she tweeted a picture on her way to the country and wrote, “Follow my Instagram to share my experiences as I visit the #Rohingya #Refugee camps on this #UnicefFieldVisit. #ChildrenUprooted. The world needs to care. We need to care.” The Indian beauty has been working with the international welfare organisation (UNICEF) for nearly a decade. Under its umbrella, she has worked for a number of causes, significant among which were the causes related to child rights and environment so on and so forth. Last year, she visited Jordan to meet the Syrian refugees. Priyanka who made headlines, last weekend, for attending her dear friend, Meghan Markle’s royal wedding with Prince Harry, is currently awaiting the release of her films, ‘A Kid Like Jake’ and ‘Isn’t It romantic?’, before starting to shoot for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat with Salman Khan.
