After actress Tanushree Dutta accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of sexual harassment on the sets of Horn Ok Pleassss in 2008, many women from Bollywood and outside have come forward naming their alleged perpetrators through social media posts. Many celebrities have expressed their views on the ongoing movement and the latest one to join the bandwagon is actress Radhika Apte. While speaking at the launch of new collection of Daniel Wellington watches, she said that she is in full support of the movement.

The actress has been associated with Kwan Entertainment which is one of the biggest celebrity management agencies in India. The founder of the company has been sacked after four aspiring actress accused him of seeking sexual favours.

On being asked if she will disassociate herself from the agency, IANS quoted her saying, “I am completely and closely in contact with them. The people who are associated with Kwan have helped me and I have a great relationship with them. They are taking all required action as we all support the (#MeToo) movement.”

While talking about M.J. Akbar’s resignation as Minister of State for External Affairs, Rashika stated, “There are so many people involved and there are more things which will come out. So, we can’t comment on every individual case at this stage.”

She added, “All I can say is that, as an industry, we are trying to come together and find a way of constructively making a system where we all have a safe environment and it’s going on. I am part of that and I hope that we come up with a constructive system which is equal and genderless for every human being.”

From Alok Nath to Vikas Bahl, many popular names have been accused of harassment, sexual misconduct and even rape.

On the professional front, Radhika was last seen in Ayushmann Khurrana and Tabu starrer Andhadhun.
