Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone – two of the most love Bollywood jodis (real – when they were dating, and on reel- even after their breakup) walked for Shabana Azmi’s Mijwan 2018 Show last evening in Mumbai. And we are still reeling under the after effects of the glitzy affair. Dressed in Manish Malhotra’s creations both the stars looked their best as they shashayed down the ramp. While a lot is being said about Deepika’s dreamy lehenga choli and how she looked so chic and stylish, we want to bring your attention to Ranbir.
No, not to his outfit or his pictures with Deepika, but to how the man carried himself at the Mijwan 2018 walk and to the things he said during his interactions there. He certainly had our heart at three distinct moments and we now have videos to share the same with you all. One, is when he spoke about what it means to be a real man, two, when he spoke about how there is a need to change the definition of masculinity to make this world a better place for girls and women and three, when he was a nervous wreck while walking down the ramp with Deepika Padukone, walking hand-in-hand with her, talking continuously and prompting her to ‘chal’ after spending a few seconds posing for the shutterbugs.
Check out these three videos from Mijwas 2018 starring Ranbir Kapoor (Deepika Padukone is there as well but we bet your eyes will be stuck on RK)
When Ranbir Kapoor revealed what he has learnt from his mother Neetu Kapoor: This will make any mother proud and any girl lose her heart to RK.
When he spoke about how we can make the world a better place for girls and women
Ranbir looks visibly nervous and how he prompts Deepika to let her know it’s time they make an exit from the ramp is too adorable
Don’t you agree with us that despite Deepika Padukone looking like a stunner at the Mijwan 2018 event, it was Ranbir Kapoor who stole the show? Let’s hope he gives us many more awe-inspiring moments in the days to come, especially with the teaser his film Sanju – the Sanjay Dutt biopic releasing on April 24 and the makers putting the promotions at full throttle.
