Yes, that child artist’s name is Malvika Raaj and she has grown up, all set to return with a new film. There are many who don’t know the fact that Malvika has a filmy background. Some members of her khaandaan has connection to the glamorous showbiz industry.
Malvika Raaj is the granddaughter of Bollywood star Jagdish Raj and niece of actress Anita Raaj. After doing Karan Johar’s blockbuster film, we did not see her in any films and the 23-year-old explains the reason behind it. She told IANS, “After Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, since I was a very young and a naughty child, my dad did not want me to pursue acting anymore as it would have distracted me from studies. So how about doing films now? Malvika Raaj further said, “He is okay with it. He just wanted me to have my degree and then pursue my acting work.” She is now gearing up for a Telugu movie titled ‘Jayadev’. About her launch in a south film Malvika told the news agency, “I am really excited for my launch. It’s like a dream come true to do debut with director Jayanth. He is so senior and awesome, and I am really waiting for the response.” So let’s wait and watch if she gets to do any Bollywood film soon!
