Roadies host Karan Kundra was recently in news for his controversial stint on the sets of the reality show. The telly actor apparently slapped a contestant and got physical with another one during the auditions. Now we hear that VJ Nikhil Chinappa has replaced Karan as the host of the show. Speculations are rife that his controversial and short-tempered behaviour have led to this development. Karan who has been associated with Roadies for the past few years have been replaced after the auditions, citing reasons that Karan couldn’t continue shooting.

This was Karan’s third season with Roadies and this latest move of the makers suggest that this would be his last season too. But according to ABP Live’s report, Nikhil was brought in busy Karan couldn’t shoot for Roadies amid his busy schedule. It also claims that the channel has no issues with Karan except for the fact that his dates clash with that of his other work commitments. A source close to the channel confirmed that, “Nikhil is being roped in to take Karan’s place on ‘Roadies Rising’ due to clash in schedules of the journey shoot and Karan’s other prior commitments.”(ALSO READ: Sunny Leone ready for comparisons with Sherlyn Chopra)

Recently a video surfaced online, where Karan was seen slapping a Roadies contestant. Reports claim that Karan got aggressive with two contestants during the Roadies Rising auditions.
