Ever since Prabhas’ Saaho with director Sujeeth was announced, fans have been looking forward to know more about it. As of now, there are a lot of speculations around the film’s release. India.com had exclusively revealed to its readers that the makers are looking at a Sankranthi 2019 release date. Even as they were striving to come out with the film this year itself, there has been some delay in the shoot schedule and the VFX for the film will further need some time before the film is ready to hit screens.

Now, we hear that the film may not release on Sankranthi 2019 even as it may not be ready by then. The schedule in Dubai, where the crew was supposed to can some important action sequences have been postponed due to some technical issues say our sources. Saaho is only 30 – 40 per cent complete as of now and Prabhas and his team have a long way to go. Amid all this, there is also buzz that since Prabhas will start shooting for Radha Krishna Kumar’s love story, which reportedly stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead, the film might get completed and ready to release before Saaho.

So will Saaho miss the Sankranthi 2019 date and make way for Prabhas 20? Our source from Saaho tells us, “The film is still in the making and right now it will be too soon to say when it will be ready for release. But Saaho will be Prabhas’ next film. He, as well as UV Creations are keen on having Saaho be the actor’s next after Baahubali. They feel this is the apt, entertaining, solo release that Darlings fans – old and new – would be expecting from him.” Interestingly, Prabhas 20 is also being bankrolled by UV Creations and hence the makers will have the liberty to make a choice and decide the release dates for both Saaho and Prabhas 20.

As far as fans are concerned, we are sure they will be equally happy to see Prabhas on the big screen irrespective of which film releases first. Haina?
