We always felt that Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi was quite a big name for the adorable little munchkin. Yes, the name has a very regal ring to it and keeps up with his royal lineage, but, we would still like a name that would be in-sync with the the shutterbug-friendly and poser boy that the little one is known to be. Well, it so happens, that his parents Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are too of the same opinion as us and have a nickname for him. Yes, little blue-eyed boy is called as ‘Tim’ by his loved ones and we surely approve of it. We will surely call the little munchkin, Tim from now on.

It was Saif who disclosed his nick name during Rajeev Masand and Anupama Chopra’s podcast. It was quite unprompted and spontaneous so we won’t blame you if you happened to miss it. In the podcast, Saif was speaking at great length about Kareena and his plans on bringing up their one-year-old despite the media attention and glare. The Kalaakaandi star said, “ou have to sit him down, the minute he can understand it. And it’ll start with calling the people at home and not yelling. It’ll be manners, it’ll be Please, Thank You, Aadaab. It’ll be discipline from young age. At least we know these things. These Bombay kids are out of control. He’ll be very well behaved. And honestly if he does his namaste right, he’ll score points. Have you seen Sara’s aadaab when she was younger? This is it. This is what we need, a nice aadaab from Tim. TIM by the way.” And that’s how we got to know!

During the podcast, ‘Take 2 with Anupama and Rajeev’,  Saif also called Taimur a genetic treasure trove. “He is a genetic treasure trove, he is. He has got a bit of Rabindranath Tagore, he is a bit of Raj Kapoor, a bit of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, little bit of Bhopal. It’s beyond me.” Well, now that you think of it, he is! We all know that he is quite a cutie patootie and if he grows up being as well mannered and gentlemanly like his parents plan on bringing him up, there’s no stopping him from becoming the most eligible bachelor in the future. Yes, we’re getting quite ahead of our time out here, but it’s true. Meanwhile, keep watching out for more Bollywood related scoop in the comments’ section below.
