Just yesterday India.com talked about the need for actor Salman Khan to undergo a swine flu blood test, after his co-star Sonam Kapoor and her gym trainer tested positive for the disease. Salman and Sonam were shooting for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in a Rajkot palace where the disease struck the sets. The newspapers report that the cast and crew of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, including director Sooraj Barjatya, are rehearsing with surgical masks on, which the actors remove during the actual shots. Actress Swara Bhaskar, who is playing Salman Khan‘s sister in the film, said that the crew is being very careful.
Meanwhile the royal family of Rajkot is apparently treating the team of Salman’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo to Ayurvedic and homoeopathic treatment for the H1N1 or swine flu disease.
Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, his wife Anupama Chopra and their son Agni Chopra have also been infected with the swine flu. While the producer-director and Agni are in hospital, Anupama is at home. We wish Sonam and the Chopras a speedy recovery.
