The Bandra police was investigating the case but recently concluded saying that the complaint registered against Shera by Attar Umar Qureshi is fake and an attempt to blackmail.

The victim even said that Shera broke his collar bone by hitting him hard with the butt of a pistol. This fight started with a heated arguement between Shera and Qureshi’s friend over the phone on October 25. Soon, Shera was detained by the DN Nagar police and was booked under IPC 326, 503 and 504. Shera gave a statement before entering the police station and said that he had a verbal arguement and not a physical fight. He even added saying, “On Tuesday, I went to meet a friend at Kokilaben Hospital and from there to Pop Tate’s which is where we had the verbal argument. I didn’t get down from my car so there is no question of hitting anyone.”

During the investigation process, Shera told the cops that someone tried to stop his car around 2 am near Amitabh Bachchan’s Juhu bungalow. He even said that when he did not stop his car, he’d deliberately fallen down on the road in front of the car.

A senior police officer was quoted by the leading daily Mumbai Mirror saying, “We started searching for witnesses and came across taxi and auto-drivers who in their statement reiterated that someone had fallen down on the road to stop a car and injured himself in the process.”

He even said that when Qureshi confronted them with various evidences, he finally admitted that after a heated arguement with Shera over the phone, he had plan to beat him up that night. He even said that they planned to file a complaint to spoil his image in the public. Soon, police said that Qureshi’s thought process was to target and spoil Shera and his star Salman Khan’s image and a chance to extort some money from them. Now, the police has filed a case against Qureshi for filing a false complain.
