Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera has been with the actor for the last 18 years. Few days ago there came in the news that the trusted bodyguard has been charged with assault. The complaint was registered by Attar Umar Qureshi against Shera. The complainant had alleged that Shera had broken his collar bone by hitting him with the butt of a pistol. But now Shera alleges that more than six people tried to assault him on October 26. As per a leading tabloid, Shera has filed a written complaint to the Juhu police.

The complaint has come right after the assault case was filed against Shera by Attar Umar Qureshi at the DN Nagar police station. The police are now investigating the case and gathering evidence after which an FIR will be filed, reports Mid-Day. The report quoted an officer from DN Nagar police station saying, “Following the complaint by Qureshi, we started an investigation, followed by the process of gathering CCTV footage. However, the claims made by the complainant in his statement were proved false, with the CCTV footage not supporting his narration of the incident.”

After the entire drama that happened at the wee hours of October 26, the DN Nagar police had registered a case against Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera under sections IPC 326, 503 and 504 and relevant sections of the Arms Act against four other people that includes Shera as well. The Bollywood actor’s bodyguard has clearly mentioned that he is not at all involved in this matter and the allegations against him are fake. He confessed that he did speak to his friend Ajay over the phone but wasn’t involved in the crime scene that has been narrated to the police. Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera had then spoken to Times Now where he denied the allegations. He said, “Nothing happened on Tuesday. I went to meet a friend at Kokilaben Hospital, then I went to Pop Tate’s where I had a verbal argument on the phone, but no physical scuffle. The police came to my house in the morning and now I am accompanying them to the DN Nagar Police Station. I don’t know the details of the charges against me.” (ALSO READ: Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera finally gets clean chit by Mumbai police in assault case!)

A senior officer was quoted saying, “There were a few people who tried to chase Shera’s car right from Juhu till Andheri and even tried to force him to stop by blocking his way, but he didn’t stop. From the CCTV footage, it looks like these people had planned to beat up Shera. However, the reason is yet to be ascertained.” Senior inspector Sunil Ghosalkar said on this matter, “A written complaint has been received. The investigation is on. We will first verify the facts, gather evidence and then go ahead with the FIR if there is any weight in the claims.”
