After superhit film ‘Yaariyan’, director Divya Khosla Kumar is back with her second directorial, a romantic film ‘Sanam Re’. Starring Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam, the film’s trailer has received a great response. Music to this film is given by Mithoon, Jeet Ganguly, Amaal Mallik, and Epic Bhangra whereas lyrics are penned down by Rashmi Virag, Mithoon, Manoj Muntashir, Manoj Yadav, Ikka Singh and Kumaar. ‘Sanam Re’ which is a romantic film, is expected to have heart-warming romantic songs.

Let’s have a look at the music review of ‘Sanam Re’:

Sanam Re

Arijit Singh’s voice is a boon to Bollywood romantic songs. The title track of the film sung by Arijit is a soulful and intense love song. Well, when Tum Hi Ho duo Arijit and music director Mithoon work together, lovely magical compositions are expected to happen. Lyrics written by Mithoon express how important in one’s life is the person he/he loves. (ALSO READ: Too bad! Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam’s affair rumour was created for Sanam Re promotions!)

Gazab Ka Hain Yeh Din

This is the sweetest melody in the album. Gazab Ka Hai Din is composed by Amaal Mallik and the lyrics are penned down by Manoj Muntashir. Music of this song is quite soothing and Arijit’s voice sounds too honeyed which makes this track a pleasant one. One can keep humming this beautiful composition for a long time.

Hua Hain Aaj Pehli Baar

Crooned by Armaan Malik and Palak Muchhal this is another sweet-sounding melody in the album. The song is composed by Amaal Malik tuning Manoj Yadav’s lyrics. This melodious track which is an expression of love by the lovers for each other is tunefully portrayed by Armaan and Palak with their mellifluous voices. Humne Pee Rakhi Hai

Do you remember superhit party song Sunny Sunny from Yaariyan? A song to match –up the same party mood is attempted in Sanam Re too. The song sung by Jaz Dhami, Neha Kakkar, Ikka Singh is a failed attempt of a rocking party song. The music of this song given by Epic Bhangra and lyrics written by Ikka, Kumaar which are somewhat silly do not leave an impact on listeners’ ears.

Kya Tujhe Ab Ye Dil Bataye

Composed by Amaal Malik, this is a heartfelt track in the album. Falak Shabir has lent his voice for this emotional track and the lyrics written by Manoj Muntashir, play a key role in conveying emotions. Although it’s an intense track, it is yet a catchy track with can touch the chords of a person’s heart.

Tere Liye

Tere Liye is another composition of Mithoon in the album and the lyrics are written by him. Sung by Ankit Tiwari, Tere Liye is a sad track. No doubt both Mithoon and Ankit both are brilliant in their work when it comes to deep, emotional and soulful songs, but their magic cannot be seen in Tere Liye.

Tum Bin

Shreya Ghoshal’s mellow voice is the best match for this track. It is composed by Jeet Ganguly and the lyrics are penned down by Rashmi Virag. Shreya’s voice beautifully compliments the soft music and feel of the song.

Chhote Chhote Tamashe

Composed by Jeet Ganguly, Chhote Chhote Tamashe is quite a catchy number. Sung by Shaan, this is a small silvery naughty track. Lyrics are written by Manoj Muntashir  and this tuneful track can be termed as a cute one in the album. (ALSO READ: Fitoor vs Sanam Re: Which movie do you prefer to watch this Valentine’s Day?)

Sanam Re’s music is a combination of intense, romantic and peppy numbers. Some songs are amazing while few fail to impress one. However, the ones that are good make this a perfect romantic album for Valentine’s eve. ‘Sanam Re’ is slated to release on February 12, 2016.
