Shah Rukh Khan‘s fans were having a gala time seeing their favourite star on screen every Sunday. Well we are talking about SRK’s Ted Talks India : Nayi Soch, which was one of the most interesting and exciting shows to be announced. The show has had some of the best speakers from varied fields come together on the same talk and inspire the audiences with their motivational talks. However, although the show was high on content, it failed to have a positive impact on the TRP charts. Despite all that, we now hear that the makers have already decided on coming up with a second season, which will start premiering during Diwali this year.
Reportedly, the first guest to feature on the show in its second season will be music maestro, A R Rahman. Mid-day quoted a source close to the development as stating, “The producers are happy with the way the show has panned out and are keen that Shah Rukh reprise his role in the second season too. The contract is currently being worked out.” Furthermore, the source stated that the channel was trying to get Rahman in season one itself, but it didn’t work out due to date issues. The first season, which will air its seventh episode this week, will come to an end next week. The finale episode will comprise the 5 best talks of the season. With this season coming to an end next Sunday, the second season will begin towards the end of 2018. The tabloid further quoted the source as saying, “The channel is still in the process of roping in speakers and working out the dates. If they manage to zero in on all the speakers in time, the season may kickstart during Diwali. Anyway, we hope that the news of the makers coming up with a second season towards the end of 2018 will reduce the disappointment of the first season ending.
