Come September 2017 and the small screen is all set to get bigger and how! Bollywood’s biggest and most loved superstars – Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will be clashing on television. While we have Salman Khan coming out with his Bigg Boss 11, Shah Rukh, on the other hand, will be hosting Ted Talks: Nayi Soch on Star Plus.
Salman will soon be back with yet another season of the popular yet controversial reality TV show Bigg Boss. Recently, Raj Nayak, the CEO of Colors, took to Twitter to share the news on his social media handle. He wrote, “Here we all go @BiggBoss fans. Auditions open for #BiggBoss Season 11 with @beingsalmankhan.” Finally, after this post, it was a relief to Bhai’s fans that ‘Bhai is back’. Buzz is that after Bigg Boss 11, Salman will opt out from the show for some years, but it is quite difficult to imagine anyone else than Salman, hosting the show.
While Salman Khan’s fans rejoice, Shah Rukh Khan’s fans too are quite excited. Yes, the actor who was previously associated with Star Plus to host Kaun Banega Crorepati 3, ten years ago, has yet again joined the channel to host the Hindi version of popular international show Ted Talks. The actor, in a statement to an entertainment portal, said, “I am looking forward to working with TED and Star India, and truly hope that together, we are able to inspire young minds across India and the world.”
The show, that will follow the signature TED format of prominent speakers voicing their opinions in front of a live audience, will be a series of 14 episodes. It will feature three different speakers in an 18-minute or less monologue. Buzz is that SRK will start shooting from August 19. The shoot will be carried out for seven days, filming two episodes per day. The speakers and the exact date of the launch are kept under wraps.
