The actor unveiled his wax statue at the Singapore’s Madame Tussauds museum today. The actor traveled to Singapore with his wife Mira Rajput and kids but did not take them to unveil the statue.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Shahid was asked who in his family was the most excited about his wax statue at Tussauds. Shahid said that everyone in his family, including his wife and in-laws are very excited and were all very happy to hear the news. Revealing why he did not take his kids, he said, “As for Misha and Zain, we don’t plan to take them for the unveiling of the statue. Otherwise, they may think, ‘wow, what just happened?’ as it could be a traumatic experience for them to see two dads (laughs). So, only Mira will join me”.

On the professional front, Shahid Kapoor will soon be seen in Kabir Singh playing an intense character.  His role in the film looked a lot like his character from Udta Punjab, fierce and rough. While the Padmaavat actor plays the lead role in the film, Kiara Advani will be seen playing the role of Preeti, Kabir’s love interest.

Shahid never fails to impress the audience with his intriguing performance. In the trailer, you can see Shahid as an aggressive young guy who falls in love with a college fresher.

Kabir Singh is the Hindi remake of Telugu hit film Arjun Reddy, starring Vijay Deverakonda. Both the films have been directed by Sandeep Vanga. The male protagonist in the film finds himself unable to handle his life after his girlfriend marries another man due to family pressure. The film also highlights the issues of mental illness and caste differences. Kabir Singh is set to hit the screens on June 21.
