Telly actress Mouni Roy made her big Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar starrer Gold. The lady not only received praises for her performance but the movie is also doing a wonderful business at the box office. Now, TV actor Shardul Pandit has reviewed the movie and along with criticising Akshay Kumar’s Bengali accent, he also called Mouni’s lip job sad. He shared a post on Facebook but later deleted it.

He wrote, “Gold is a sad attempt at making a testosterone version of Chak De. Just coz it was Independence Day it doesn’t mean you have to make a film with forced patriotism. Editors love rubber. Mouni what a pretty girl why that sad lip job though. Akshay Kumar speaks Bengali in Punjabi. Save your 450 rs give it a miss.”

It is yet to be seen if Mouni reacts to the actor’s comment. The actress became a household name after her daily soap won hearts. She will also be seen in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra. Mouni has also signed Made in China opposite Rajkummar Rao.

On a related note, Gold, released on August 15, narrates the story of India’s first Olympic gold medal after independence. The movie has minted Rs 71.30 cr till now. It is all set to enter the coveted Rs 100 cr club in coming days.
