Sometimes you see or hear things that are so bad, but you somehow end up liking them. The latest track from Kangana Ranaut‘s upcoming film, Simran is exactly that. Titled, Single Rehne De, the song makes you go WTF in just a few seconds, but as you continue listening to it, it kind of grows on you. The video is surely quirky, as the song is not situational, as it has been shot separately, maybe in a studio with colourful backgrounds.

Kangana is playing a Gujarati girl in the film, and even though you might not come to know that in the trailer, but this song has the Gujju vibe, thanks to the singers Shalmali Kholgade and Divya Kumar, who have got the Gujarati accent right. We told you that this is bad, but you will somehow would want to listen it again, and major credit for that goes to music composers Sachin and Jigar and their peppy music.

Directed by Hansal Mehta, Simran is slated to release on September 15. The film has had it’s share of controversies even before the release as Kangana and writer of the film, Apurva Asrani got into a row soon after the first poster was unveiled. Kangana chose to take credit as a writer too, and ironically during the credit roll, her name came first. This did not go very well with Apurva, who slammed the actress for stealing his credits. However, things were sorted out by the trailer launch.
