It’s been two years since the country’s favourite rapper Honey Singh released a song, and it is high time the singer sprung back to life. And so he has. The rapper is set for a grand comeback with Luv Ranjan’s upcoming film Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety. Honey Singh has even dropped a teaser of the song to keep the excitement up among his wide fan following, and it is titled Dil Chori.
Sharing a teaser of the film was not only Honey Singh himself but also the film’s lead stars Kartik Aryan, Nusrat Bharucha, and Sunny Singh via their social media handles. Sharing the news of his comeback, Yo Yo wrote in his tweet: “BIG NEWS comin your way .Stay Tuned – Yo Yo#YoYoHoneySingh #YoYo #YoYoOxide”. You can check out the teaser here below:
With his last song coming in Aankhon Aankhon from Bhaag Johnny (2015), Yo Yo Honey Singh was completely off the charts for the past two years. Being candid about his absence, the singer had said in an interview last year, “Nobody knows this, and I wanted to tell the world myself, not through a spokesperson. The last 18 months were the darkest phase of my life, and I wasn’t in a state to talk to anyone. I know there were rumours that I was in rehab, but I was in my Noida house throughout. Truth is, I was suffering from bipolar disorder. It went on for 18 months, during which I changed four doctors, the medication wasn’t working and crazy things were happening.” ALSO READ: Tiger Zinda Hai Box Office Collection: Salman Khan’s Film Covers All Production Costs In The Opening Weekend
However, Yo Yo is through that phase and seems to be back to business in full swing as he is reportedly spending around 12 hours in the studio recording for his song. Before his last tweet, he had even shared pictures of himself on the banks of the river Ganges. “Chillin at the Ganges. Makin #BEATS writing #VERSES. “Jai Ganga Maiya Ki” #YoYo #YoYoHoneySingh #Music,” he wrote in his tweet last week. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which has a three-film contract T Series and Luv Ranjan, will be a quirky comedy, slated to release on November 3, 2018.
