Spotted: Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol shoot iconic DDLJ train scene for Rohit Shetty's Dilwale! (Video)

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol were spotted recreating the iconic train scene from their own classic romantic hit, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), for Rohit Shetty’s movie Dilwale. The two superstars shot the scene in Bulgaria, and fans shared the videos and clips on social media and YouTube a few days ago. But it’s today that DDLJ is trending on social networking site Twitter for the scene.

The train sequence is in the climax of DDLJ, when Amrish Puri the strict father lets his daughter (Kajol as Simran) go away with her lover (Shah Rukh Khan as Raj). The film released in 1995 but went on to be a cult classic because of scenes like these. It is still running in a Mumbai theatre called Maratha Mandir.

Website Instabollywood also shared a fan video on their Instagram page from Bulgaria, where Kajol is seen getting down from the train at the scene’s shooting on the sets of Dilwale. Watch it here:

Many copies of the DDLJ scene have been made in Indian cinema, and now Rohit Shetty is officially recreating the scene with the original pair of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol itself! And that too, in a movie named Dilwale. Watch the video here to know more about the shoot in Bulgaria.
