Actress Swara Bhasker is known for speaking her heart out. Lately, she voiced her opinion on the Kerala nun abuse case. Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri tried to slut shame the actress with his derogatory tweet. Swara not only lashed out at him but also notified Twitter authorities against the derogatory post. Her complaint was acknowledged and Vivek’s account was locked.
Swara retweeted a tweet and wrote, “Absolutely shameful and disgusting!!!! Scum present across political spectrums and religious divides in India. Literally nauseating!”
Vivek wrote, “Where Is The Placard – “#MeTooProstituteNun”?” Swara was in no mood to sit silently. So, she slammed him saying, “Vivek. Just want to point out that you are using the trauma of women who are rape survivors to slut shame and abuse in public a woman you don’t like. In the rare moments of sanity that may visit your brain – otherwise unhinged with hate- think about how low that is.”

The lady also thanked the authorities for locking the filmmaker’s account. Shew wrote, “Thank you @TwitterIndia @TwitterSupport for taking cognisance of @vivekagnihotri’s abusive tweet. And making him delete it! No tolerance for cyber bullying and abuse of women on public platforms! (Or private – but one thing at a time) Thank you #SayNoToBullying.”
On the professional front, Swara was last seen in Veere Di Wedding alongside Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shikha Talsania.
