Actress Tanushree Dutta, who accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of sexual harassment on the sets of Horn Ok Pleassss in 2008, has now knocked the doors of the Maharashtra Women Commission for her case. Her complaint demands the investigation into harassment allegations against the actor, Ganesh Acharya, producer Samee Siddiqui, director Rakesh Sarang, and several Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) party workers.

Her lawyer confirmed the same to ANI and said, “The complaint has been lodged with the Maharashtra State Commission for Women. Tomorrow we are going to move the complaint to the District Officer as per the Sexual Harassment Act Section 9. “

He further said, “Tanushree Dutta’s statement has not yet been recorded so tomorrow she will come for the same along with the witnesses. After recording the statement, we will take the next step.”

It seems like the controversy is not going to die down anytime soon. Meanwhile, Nana, who was shooting for his upcoming film, Houseful 4 in Jaisalmer, has returned to the city. However, he stated that his lawyer advised him to not talk to the press in detail adding, “Kal jo sach tha vo aaj sach hai vo kal bhi sach rahega.”

The former actress alleged that Nana added some inappropriate dance steps in the choreography of the song she was supposed to perform for the film. The actress added that she walked out of the sets furiously after seeing that nobody from the film’s team came to her rescue even when she complained about the incident to the producer.

From Priyanka Chopra to farhan Akhtar, many Bollywood celebs came forward in her support and also called her courageous.

After Tanushree, many women not only from Bollywood but from the other industries as well, have come forward and narrated their horrifying stories of assault.
