Actress Tanushree Dutta recently made a shocking revelation that has stirred a storm in the industry. In her interview, the lady stated that she was harassed by actor Nana Patekar about 10-years-ago on the sets of movie Horn ‘Ok’ Pleassss. However, nobody took any action. While megastar Amitabh Bachchan refused to comment on the matter, many B-Town celebs like Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Swara Bhasker came out in Tanushree’s support.

Farhan took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “Even when #TanushreeDutta had career concerns to keep quiet 10 years ago she did not & her story hasn’t changed now. Her courage should be admired, not her intention questioned.”

Priyanka shared her point of view. She re-tweeted Farhan’s tweet and mentioned, “Agreed..the world needs to #BelieveSurviviors.”

Twinkle Khanna tweeted, “Please read this thread before judging or shaming #TanushreeDutta a working environment without harassment and intimidation is a fundamental right and by speaking up this brave woman helps pave the way towards that very goal for all of us!”

Shyni Shetty, who was an Assistant Director in that film, praised Tanushree for showing courage. Check the tweet below:

Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan were asked to comment on it at the trailer launch of Thugs of Hindostan. Big B dodged the question saying, “Naa toh mera naam Tanushree hai aur naa hee Nana Patekar, kaise uttar (answer) do aapko iss sawal ka”.

Aamir, on the other hand, said, “I think without knowing the veracity of something or the details of something, I don’t think I can comment, it’s not right for me. But, I would like to say that whenever something like this does happen, it’s really sad, now if this has happened or not is for people to investigate”.

On the other hand, Nana has denied allegations. In an interview to Mirror Now, the veteran actor laughed off the controversy and said, “What does she mean by sexual harassment? There were 50-100 people on set with me (at that time)…”

Not only Nana, Tanushree has also accused director Vivek Agnihotri of inappropriate behaviour while shooting for Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets adding that Irrfan Khan and Suniel Shetty stood up for her.
