Bigg Boss 12, one of the most controversial reality shows, will be back to the small screen this month. Superstar Salman Khan will be hosting the show and this year’s theme is Vichitra Jodis. The show was to air at 10:30 pm on weekdays and 9 pm on weekends, as scheduled earlier. However, the Chief Executive Officer of Colors channel, Raj Nayak, revealed that the show has got a new time slot.
He took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “#BreakingNews This season of the biggest Reality show on Indian Television #BiggBoss12 to be telecast at 9 PM on all days @ColorsTV! @iamappyfizz @oppomobileindia @PanasonicIndia.”
Recently, the announcement was made that newly-wed couple Bharti Singh and husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa will be making their entry into the house. Reports also suggest that the couple has charged almost a crore per week as their fees to participate on the show. The other speculated names this year are Dipika Kakar, Subuhi Joshi, Shaleen Bhanot, Karanvir Bohra among others. Even the names of adult-film-star Danny D and his co-star Mahika Sharma have also been surfaced.
This year’s theme for the show has the contestants participating in ‘jodis.’ Best friends, brother-sister, mother-daughter, husband-wife and father-daughter — all are welcome on the show this time. It will, therefore, be quite exciting to see some interesting contestants making an entry into pairs.
Salman shifted the launch location of the show this time from Lonavala to Goa, considering he will also be shooting for Bharat in the city. Amid all the rumours of celebrity names joining the contestants’ list, speculations are also rife that an 80-year-old woman from Noida is participating on the show with his grandson as one of the ‘vichitra jodis’. The show will start premiere on September 16.
