Comedian turned actor Kapil Sharma, earlier this month announced his comeback on television with The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV after missing from the public eye since 2017 for his unprofessional behaviour. The best part about his show was his and Sunil Grover’s bond. Their special bond and perfect punchlines made the show even more interesting and funnier. Now in a statement, Kapil mentioned that the two “share a special bond of brotherhood” and they might also be back on the comedy show together.
Recently, during the promotions of his Punjabi film, Kapil told Hindustan Times, “Sunil and I share a special bond of brotherhood with zero controversies. We were even together a few days back, sitting and laughing and discussing our upcoming projects. All the controversies are just spiced up by the fake news and apps. Things are not the way as [they’re] spiced up on social media. We may also be back on a comedy show soon”.
The Kapil Sharma Show will be back on TV this Diwali. “It will be a crisp and fresh project. We are still figuring out whether it will be a new show or the next season of The Kapil Sharma Show. We are looking forward to launch it during Diwali. Kapil is geared up to produce a quality show that will entertain his audience. He is looking at making another comedy show. We haven’t yet locked the team,” said a source close to the actor to The Indian Express.
Kapil is all set to produce his first Punjabi film titled Son of Manjeet Singh. The film is slated to release on October 12.
