It looks like the month of November will be the costliest for Indian cinema with two big films set for release. Thugs Of Hindostan and 2.0 have released their trailers, and both movies look like they will be bringing a lot of action to the big screen. Both the films are said to have been created with a huge budget, and from the trailers, we can see that no expense has been spared.
Where Thugs Of Hindostan is concerned, the movie, which is set for release on November 8, has two of the biggest talents of Indian cinema in the lead, namely Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan. Not to be outdone, movie 2.0, which will be out in cinemas on November 29, has Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar playing lead roles.
2.0 has been touted as the biggest and most expensive film to be created in the history of Indian Cinema with a budget of Rs 550 crore, while Thugs Of Hindostan has reportedly been made at a budget of Rs 250 crore. Together the movies amount to Rs 800 crore, hence making November the most expensive month of 2018.
About 2.0, it is a science fiction movie written and directed by S. Shankar, co-written by B. Jeyamohan, and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah. In it, Rajinikanth reprises his role of human-robot Chitti, while Akshay Kumar plays antagonist Dr Richard aka Crow Man. Watch the trailer below:
Thugs Of Hindostan, on the other hand, is an epic action-adventure movie written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra under his banner Yash Raj Films. The movie is about a band of thugs, led by Azaad (Amitabh Bachchan), which aspires to free India from the British rule. Watch the trailer below:
