After much hype, movie Thugs Of Hindostan is out in theatres now, and the audience has shared its views about the epic action-adventure film starring actors Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Lloyd Owen among others. The movie, which was written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, and produced by Aditya Chopra under his banner Yash Raj Films, has got mixed reviews from fans and moviegoers alike.

The story, set in 1795, about a band of thugs that take on the British East India Company and tries to free India from its grip, got much attention before its release, but most who have watched it say that it is engrossing only in the first hour and after that it was a boring affair. Some though have given the movie 4 stars. A movie goer had this to stay about the movie:

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh has however given it just two stars, saying the movie was disappointing and all that glitters is gold. He termed the movie as a formula-ridden plot, and a screenplay of convenience, with shoddy direction being the main culprits.

Taran’s tweet about the movie got many reactions on Twitter, with some calling it a disastrous movie and wanting their money back.

Thugs Of Hindostan, which stars Aamir as Firangi, Amitabh as Khudabaksh, Fatima as Zafira, and Katrina as Suraiyya, was produced on an estimated budget of Rs 300 crore, making it one of the most expensive movies of Bollywood. It remains to be seen in the coming days if it will live up to the hype it has created and if it will do well at the box office.
