After launching the logo of much awaited action-adventure film Thugs of Hindostan, Yash Raj Films has now shared the first look of superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who plays the role of Khudabaksh, the commander of thugs. The movie, which was written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, also features Bollywood bigwig Aamir Khan along with Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

Pictures from the movie, which is slated for release on November 8, 2018 during Diwali, have created a lot of buzz and left people wanting more. And now with the release of the motion poster, showcasing Amitabh Bachchan, the wait is going to be even more difficult.

In the small clip released by Yash Raj Films on Twitter, Amitabh is shown in his full body armour with a turban on his head, standing with one leg on a canon while holding the hilt of his sword with one hand and a dagger with the other. Have a look at the clip:

Actor Aamir Khan, who will be playing the role of Ameer Ali, a prominent thug of Pathan origin who was orphaned as a child and raised by thugs, took to his Instagram page to share a picture of Amitabh in his role as Khudabaksh.

Thugs of Hindostan is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug, about a thug called Azad, whose gang of thugs posed a serious challenge to the British Empire in India during the early 19th century. The film tells a fictional story set between 1790 and 1805.
