Popular Television stars Dipika Kakar, who is known for her role in Sasural Simar Ka, celebrated her first Eid with husband Shoaib Ibrahim this year. From Eid plans, outfits to special arrangements, Dipika, who is quite active on social media, had recently shared a few pictures from her Eid celebration on Instagram, there were a few users who trolled (abused) the actress (who is a Hindu by birth) for celebrating a Muslim festival. However, Dipika shuts down haters who slammed her for celebrating Eid.

The actress, in an interview with Hindustan Times, slammed those who criticised her for celebrating a Muslim festival. She said, “Why do I owe an explanation to you for my personal decision? Why do you expect that I will live my life on your terms and conditions? How are you even related to me? Just because I’m an actor and you get to know about my personal life doesn’t give you the right to abuse me or slam me whenever you feel like. Shame on you.”

The actress further added, “Where were these so-called concerned people when I was going through a rough patch in my life? So, how the hell they’ve got a right to ruin my image by giving bad abuses or even abusing Shoaib. I pity them that they have so much spare time to write such long hate messages for us.” ALSO READ: Dipika Kakar Celebrates Shoaib Ibrahim’s 31st Birthday in The Sweetest Way Possible; See Pictures and Videos

On the professional front, Dipika is seen in the show Entertainment Ki Raat and if reports are to be believed, she will be making her Bollywood debut with JP Dutta’s Paltan.
