Ekta Kapoor has brought back her one of the most popular romantic Hindi daily soaps on TV, Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The TV czarina is quite happy and excited with the response the show is getting from the audience. She has maintained that she always wanted to remake Kasautii and this was the right time. Just before the show premiered, Ekta also took to Instagram to thank its old cast, Shweta Tiwari (Prerna), Cezanne Khan (Anurag) and Urvashi Dholakia (Komolika). In the new version of the show, Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes are playing Anurag – Prerna, respectively.

Now, while everything seems fine with Ekta’s decision of remaking Kasautii…, she has been asked to remake her other famous TV shows as well. At a recent event, when Ekta was asked to think about remaking Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, she denied every possibility of the same. Ekta said that Kyunki… can’t be remade. Especially, because she can’t make it without Smriti Irani and the actress won’t like to work on the show now.
