After actress Tinaa Datta accused co-star, Mohit Malhotra of sexual harassment, the reports suggest that the channel might just pull down their TV show. Tinaa and Mohit play the lead in &TV’s show Daayan and the latest accusations by the actress created a lot of buzz around the show. However, as per a report in Bollywoodlife, the channel doesn’t appreciate the entire buzz and therefore, has decided to remove the show altogether instead of sorting out the issue or questioning the cast.

Tinaa has recently alleged that Mohit touched her inappropriately more than once while shooting for intimate scenes and continued his offensive behaviour despite being warned multiple times. While explaining her ordeal, the actress revealed that Mohit always tried to get away by saying that it was the requirement of his role. Tinaa also took the reference of actor Hiten Tejwani expressing how she has never been made to feel uncomfortable in the past while doing shows with other artistes. She revealed that Hiten behaved like a thorough gentleman even when he had to lift her up in a scene on their show. Tinaa added that she has done intimate and rape scenes in the past but nothing felt uncomfortable or inappropriate.

When entertainment portal Pinkvilla asked Mohit to comment on the allegations, he said he shares a good bond with Tinaa and there’s no problem between the two. Talking to Spotboye later, Tinaa said, “He would say that his character demands that he should keep his hand here and there. There was a big showdown on the set. It happened at Klick Nixon Studios when we’re shooting for a hospital scene. Some media people were also there and they saw this. “There are some people on set who want to behave as hooligans. Mohit Malhotra is one such. He had been warned once, but he did not change. In fact, things became worse. I spoke to the Creative Head too.”
