Film director Vishal Pandya’s fourth instalment of the ‘Hate Story’ franchise is now scheduled to release on March 9. The erotic thriller, which features Urvashi Rautela and Karan Wahi, was earlier slated to release on March 2. Urvashi on Thursday tweeted: “‘Hate Story IV‘ releases March 9, 2018. Vishal Pandya, T-Series.” Pandya wrote: “Walk a mile to avoid a fight, But when one starts, Don’t back down an inch… ‘Hate Story 4’ 9 March, 2018.”

With Pari having shifted to March 2, looks like the makers didn’t want Hate Story 4 to clash with the Anushka Sharma starrer film and thus decided to push the film on March 9. It all started with Sanjay Leela Bhansali finally getting the green signal to release his much awaited film, Padmaavat (earlier known as Padmavati) on January 25. Aiyaary that was to earlier release on January 26 with Akshay Kumar’s Padman has been pushed to Feb 9. Consequently, Prernaa and Karnesh Sharma of Clean Slate Films have decided to postpone the release date of Pari, which was earlier slated to release on Feb 9 along with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety to March 2.

Anyway, the film has been shot mostly in London. Actress Ihana Dhillon, known for Punjabi films like “Daddy Cool Munde Fool” and “Tiger”, will make her Bollywood debut with “Hate Story 4”. The film also features Sooraj Pancholi and Gurmeet Choudhary. The franchise has been presenting erotic thrillers with vengeance, and mystery with each of its installments. The last one, ie Hate 3, featured Sharman Joshi, Karan Singh Grover, Daisy Shah and Zarine Khan.
