The season of love is right around the corner and it’s time to binge watch those romantic movies to get a few fool-proof plans to impress your significant other. Be it a fantastic date at her favourite restaurant or just hanging out indoors while you enjoy some old movies that are a tribute of love. 10 Things I Hate About You

Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger) is a high school spoilt brat who is pretty moody but has a way with the ladies. He is given money by the new kid, Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) in the school to try and win over Kat (one of the outcast girls) because the new boy wants to date her sister. He has to do it because of the father of the girls has a set condition about his daughters dating. At first Patrick pursues Kat (Julia Stiles) just to make some extra cash but his forced pursuit of Kat eventually makes him fall for her and even Kat, the uptight know-it-all, starts to drop her guard with him. Everything goes south when she knows that Patrick was just pretending to love her for money but he had genuinely fallen in love with her and how he wins her back is worth watching the movie which can give quite a few one-liners that can get you out of a sticky spot.

What do you do when the person who has made your life a living hell asks a favour and you finally have them by the balls? Suddenly, something changes and you end up falling for the person who you thought was just the worst. This interesting flick about the fake marriage caught by a sly immigration officer and the real marriage following the fiasco is a road trip down the reel lane that you can enjoy with your loved one as Andrew becomes the solution to Margaret’s problem and his family is taken for a ride.

They say opposites attract but two robots wildly different are just too cute to handle. Wall-E is a modest robot with the sole purpose of cleaning after humans who are roaming the galaxy ensuring the survival of their species. Wall-E makes piles of landfill with junk he gets but one day an angel, Eva is sent to Earth to check if there are signs of sustainable life present after 700 years of human beings leaving planet Earth. From there starts a love story that knows no interplanetary limits. Despite his primitive functions, Wall-E does everything he can to win Eva’s heart and finally live happily together.

The list is not even nearly what you can call the perfect list of five films to watch with the love of your life while you snuggle in bed, watching the romantic films but these films can get you a new perspective on love. You can always watch the classics like The Notebook, Titanic, P.S. I Love You and the list goes on but these films will surprise you. If you’ve not seen these movies then give them a try and if you have then you’ll know that the list makes sense.
