Grammy Award-winning American singer-actress Whitney Houston was born on August 9, 1963, as Whitney Elizabeth Houston. She gave us many beautiful rendition, including the song Saving All My Love For You from her album, and also I Will Always Love You from the film Bodyguard in which she acted opposite Kevin Costner.
Whitney died an unfortunate death on February 11, 2012, of a possible drug overdose. Sadly, her only daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown also passed away on July 27, 2015, after being in a coma for several months soon after her mother’s death.
In her lifetime, Whitney won so many awards for her singing that the Guinness World Records cited her as the most awarded female act of all time. She also was on the Billboard charts many times with her best-selling records.
