It has been quite a few days since people’s beloved Amma, actress turned politician J Jayalalithaa, has passed away and people are still getting over it. She was of course popular as a politician but more loved due to her successful career in South Indian film industry. She gave amazing performances in about 140 films including Kannan En Kadhalan, Izzat, Muthu Chippi, Naan, Chandhrodhayam, Manushulu Mamathalu and many more for which she received appreciation and accolades. But after her demise, there have been talks about a biopic on her itself. There came many names forward as guessing who would actually suit up well for her role? But people might now stop working on their brains as here comes it from the veteran actress itself, as whom she wanted to play her character on silver screen and it’s none other than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan!
Now you must be thinking from where did this information surface? Here, we would like to tell you that in 1999, veteran actress and renowned Television host Simi Garewal took an interview of Jayalalithaa. As curious as everyone, Simi asked then itself to Jayalalithaa that whom she would like to see playing as THE JAYALALITHAA in the coming future. Upon that Jayalalithaa said that she would like to see the Aishwarya Rai to play her.
Now the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actress definitely looks beautiful and apt for the role as said by Jayalalithaa. The popular political however further added that Ash may look good as her younger self but what she was in 1999 or would be after that, it would be difficult for her to portray or fit in! Well, that was very thoughtful of Amma, to consider about the former Miss World and her work. (ALSO READ: What? As of now, we already know her wish and it is a no brainer that it would be Aishwarya who will be perfect to play the role of the younger version of Jayalalithaa, but now the question remains, who would be the apt person to play the latter version of this immensely loved lady!
