Honey Singh is now a household name thanks to some of his superhit chartbusters like Desi Kalaakar, Blue Eyes, Lungi Dance and Dheere Dheere to be named a few. The super talented rapper also spilled the beans on how he turned towards writing poems while he was going through tough times, and he considers his mother solemnly responsible to have brought him out of darkness. “In that phase, I wrote about 50-60 poems. One night when I couldn’t sleep in spite of popping sleeping pills, I wrote and composed a song called Rise and Shine, after seeing my mom break down. She is the only reason I am here today.” “I will publish the poems that I wrote while battling my dark phase, and let the world know that side of my life. Some of my poems are hard to understand, but now when I read them I feel…sher bimaar ho, tab bhi she hi hota hai.” ALSO READ: Honey Singh’s Zorawar trailer crosses 1 million views!
