India vs New Zealand 1st T20I: Krunal Pandya looked to take a catch on his follow through but could not as Tim Seifert came in his way. Seifert was at the non-striker’s end and he did not move as the bowler tried to take the catch. This did not go down well with Krunal who accused the batsman of obstructing the field. It was Seifert who was the pick of the Kiwi batsmen as he smashed a 43-ball 84 to power New Zealand to a mammoth 219/6. Krunal was upbeat after taking the wicket of Munro and felt he was denied another wicket and the big fish Kane Williamson.

Earlier in the day, India won the toss and opted to field first. All the three wicketkeepers were picked and the Pandya brothers. Tim Seifert hit a 43-ball 84 and was the highest run-scorer for the Kiwis. Pandya emerged as the pick of the Indian bowlers as he scalped a couple of wickets. The Kiwis managed to score a mammoth 219/6 in their stipulated 20 overs.
It will not be an easy chase for the Men in Blue. The Indian fans would be hoping the star openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma get India off to a good start.
