South Africa vs Sri Lanka: The episode that happened during the South Africa-Sri Lanka 2nd ODI was unusual but extremely entertaining. During the 32nd over, Quinton de Kock walked off-the-field with South Africa needing just one wicket to seal the win. Miller took over the wicketkeeping duties and was keeping wickets without the pad. Fernando looked to slog Imran Tahir out of the park only to miss the ball completely. Miller, who is not a regular behind the stumps managed to gather the ball and whip off the bails. Fernando was inside the crease so there was no problem with that. South Africa skipper Du Plessis who was stationed at first slip, referred to Miller as ‘MSD’. It may have been unusual but one can attribute it to Chennai Super Kings, the franchise Du Plessis and Dhoni play for.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka lost the match by 113 runs. De Kock rightfully bagged the Man of the Match award for his 94 off 70 balls. Rabada was the pick of the Protean bowlers as he scalped three wickets.
