India vs Australia 2nd ODI Adelaide: After losing the first ODI in Sydney by 34 runs, Team India was keen to make an impression in the second outing to stay alive in the three-match series. Despite Rohit Sharma’s heroics at SCG, the tourists fell short in the stiff run chase. In the second ODI, captain Virat Kohli decided to pick debutant Mohammad Siraj over off-colour Khaleel Ahmed, who had an ordinary outing with the ball in Sydney. After coming in to bowl as the first change with the new ball, Siraj was instantly taken for runs by the Australian batsmen as he constantly erred in his line and length. He not only failed to make an impact in his first spell but also kept bowling one or two loose deliveries in every over which helped the hosts to release the pressure. The 24-year old gave away 44 runs in 5 overs of his first spell. In absence of leading pacer Jasprit Bumrah, Siraj had the chance of making it count but it seemed the youngster had not managed to live up to the expectations. Here’s how the Twitter world slammed BCCI and Kohli for getting it all wrong with Siraj’s selection-
