2nd Test Australia vs India Perth: It seems young Rishabh Pant has found a new way to sledge from behind the stumps. He was stationed long way behind the stumps during the 16th over when Mohammed Shami was bowling to Aaron Finch. After Shami bowled the ball, Pant ran right up to the stumps and started yelling where the bowler should be bowling. It seemed his words were intentioned for Harris, who was at the non-striker’s end. But, it did not bother Harris a bit as he went on to slam his maiden Test fifty and scored 70 runs in his home ground at Perth.

Watch the video closely:

This is not the first instance when Pant has been caught having a chatter from behind the stumps. Apparently, he advised Kohli to ask Hanuma Vihari to pitch the ball up after the spinner bowled a couple of short balls. Pant also dropped an easy catch of Shaun Marsh while the Australian southpaw was on 29. Marsh could not make the most of the dropped chance as he was dismissed 16 runs later for 45.

Pant’s chatter drew a lot of attention on social media. Here is what netizens had to say.

In the first Test at Adelaide, he got stuck into Pat Cummins while Ravichandran Ashwin was bowling, where the wicketkeeper asked Cummins to try and hit the bowler for a six.
