Earlier, as well, Siddle got the better of Rohit, when he wrapped him on his pads and the umpire did not raise his finger. Finch went for the DRS, replays showed it was clipping the top of off, but because the umpire had not raised his finger, the decision could not be overturned and Rohit had survived. Rohit Sharma has been in good form in white ball cricket as he hit a century in the ODI opener at SCG.
Earlier, Yuzvendra Chahal picked up a six-wicket haul to decimate the hosts in the final ODI at Melbourne Cricket Ground.
He also joined Ravi Shastri as the second Indian to pick five wickets in Australia against Australia. He is also the second Indian to pick six wickets in an innings at MCG. His figures at MCG is the best ever by a spinner in Australia.
