Kohli & Co already lead the five-match ODI rubber against Australia by 2-0 after registering fine victories in Hyderabad and Nagpur. As Yuzvendra Chahal, Shikhar Dhawan shared photos from the gala dinner night, Rishabh Pant pointed out that their fitness levels would be ruined after having sumptous dinner at Thala’s house in Ranchi. Pant shared a picture and wrote, “Bhabhiji ruining our fitness levels. Super fun evening with fam-jam”. On the eve of the 3rd ODI against Australia, the Indian players wore their game face as they hit the nets on Thursday after what looked like a fun dinner. Local hero Dhoni was seen leading the the men in blue, he was also seen practicing some of his trademark strokes at the nets.
Joining Dhoni for practice, were the likes of Pant, Kedar Jadhav, Bhuvnesh Kumar, among others. Pant would be hoping to get a game in the current series, which stands 2-0 in favour of the hosts, having the won the having won the first match by 6 wickets (in Bengaluru) and the second by 8 runs (in Nagpur).
At the at the JSCA International Stadium, Dhoni has played a total of three ODIs – in which India have won one, lost one and rain forced play to be abandoned in the third game.
