India captain Virat Kohli came up with a Women’s Day message for all women a couple of days ahead of the D-day. But, he has a valid reason for it. Kohli feels every day is Women’s Day and it should be celebrated accordingly. He starts off by wishing Happy Women’s Day, then he realises it is not the right day as he says, “What, today isn’t Women’s Day?’ Kohli then questions why wasn’t it yesterday or tomorrow. It is sure a strong message coming from the Indian captain. Kohli has always been championing causes of women. There were times in the past when his wife Anushka Sharma used to get trolled whenever Kohli did not perform. Kohli to ensure that Anushka does not have to go through it, lashed out at fans with an open letter.

Meanwhile, Kohli has just hit his 40th ODI ton at Nagpur. He is in ominous form and India’s fortunes at the World Cup later this year will revolve majorly around Kohli’s form. If he gets among the runs, the Men in Blue should find themselves in a position of strength.
The Men in Blue is currently in Ranchi where they will host Australia in the 3rd ODI that will be played on March 8. Kohli’s Team India already enjoy a 2-0 lead in the ongoing five-match series and will look to seal the series at Ranchi.
