4th ODI: Defending a mammoth 358, Jasprit Bumrah got India off to a good start as he send Shaun Marsh packing early for six off 10 balls. Bumrah came over-the-wicket and got it at a full, Marsh went for a drive as the ball curled back in at the last instance to produce the perfect yorker to send the stumps for a walk. Chasing such a huge total, Australia would have dearly hoped that Marsh’s experience of playing years of IPL Marsh to the fore but that was not to be as he perished early in a 359 chase.

Here is the video of the wicket:

Earlier in the day, Bumrah hit his first international six in his 100th international game. Bumrah faced merely a single ball which was also the last ball of the Indian innings. He hit Pat Cummins over long-on for a six.

Bumrah has emerged as the leader of India’s pace attack in the last season, thanks to consistent performances around the globe.

Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan registered his 16th ODI century to propel India to a mammoth 358/9 in 50 overs. Rohit Sharma (95) and Dhawan got India off to a dream start as they stitched a record-breaking 193-run-stand. Cummins was the best Australian bowler with five scalps, but he was expenc=sive as he conceded 70 runs.

At the time of filing the copy, Australia was 94/2 in 18 overs. Khawaja (48*) and Handscomb (37) are in the middle.
