5th ODI: It sure was a WWE moment! The incident took place in the 40th over when Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Kedar Jadhav were in the middle with Glenn Maxwell bowling. Maxwell bowled a straightish delivery to Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who hit the ball towards the non-striker Kedar Jadhav. Maxwell, in order to save the single, dived across and unfortunately crashed into Kedar Jadhav. Both the cricketers took a tumble before Maxwell got up on his feet and went and hugged Kedar and inquired if he was all right. It was a great gesture from Maxwell who is usually known to be a fiery character.

Meanwhile, Australia came back from behind to upstage India 3-2. This is a big win for Australia who was beaten on their soil earlier in the year. To come and turn things around in the way they have is extremely commendable. This is the first time India has lost a bilateral ODI series at home under Virat Kohli’s leadership.


Khawaja was the star for the visitors as he slammed his second ton and set it up for them. Cummins has had a dream series as he scalped 14 wickets. It is the fifth time in the history of ODI cricket, that a team has come back from 0-2 down to win it. This is a big boost for Australia in the preparation leading up to the World Cup. For India, there are areas of concern they need to plug in before the marquee tournament later this year.

The Men in Blue will now join their respective franchises for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.
