5th ODI: With history on the cards, Australia got off to a dream start after Aaron Finch won the toss in the decider at Feroz Shah Kotla. They were 76 in 14 overs when the partnership was broken by Ravindra Jadeja with a dream delivery. The ball forced Finch to come on the front foot. He missed the turn as the ball went onto rattle his stumps. Finch was gobsmacked after his dismissal as he indicated that he did not believe the ball was going to turn so much. It was a wicket India desperately needed considering the start Australia got off to in the all-important decider at Kotla.
Here is the delivery that sends Finch packing:
Meanwhile, Peter Handscomb has joined Usman Khawaja and the two are looking solid and dangerous from an Indian point of view. Khawaja has already registered his eight ODI fifty. Khawaja is the leading run-getter in the ongoing five-match ODI series and is a pivotal reason why Australia find themselves in a good position.
At the time of filing the copy, Australia was 114/1 in 21 overs. Khawaja is on 62* and Handscomb is on 28*. Khawaja looks good to go on and slam another ton.
From an Indian point of view, Kohli would be looking to avoid losing his first bilateral ODI series on home soil.
