5th ODI: Commentator Aakash Chopra has suggested two changes for the Feroz Shah Kotla tie. Chopra feels India captain Virat Kohli should bat at No 3, which is his preferred spot. In the Mohali tie, Kohli was batting at No 4 as KL Rahul went in at No 3. Chopra feels no point tinkering with Kohli’s spot in the XI for the all-important decider. He also feels given the dew could play a huge role as it did in the last two ODIs, India should opt for one spinner and play Mohammed Shami. Chopra’s tweet read, “Would entertain the thought of playing Shami in place of one spinner i.e. if dew is likely to play a huge role tonight too. And of course…Kohli at 3.”

Virat Kohli would look to avoid his first bilateral series lost at home and hence would be looking to win the important tie. Kohli has been in ominous form with the bat in the ongoing five-match series where he has already slammed two centuries. The question is if a spinner has to sit out for Shami who will it be and also will KL Rahul get a game again?

India lost at Mohali by four wickets after setting a mammoth 358 for Australia to chase. Ashton Turner’s 43-ball 84* was the turning point of the game as the youngster playing his second ODI took Australia over the line with 13 balls to spare.

The decider will be played in Delhi at Feroz Shah Kotla.
