5th ODI: The noise was loud when the Feroz Shah Kotla crowd got a glimpse of their homegrown hero Virat Kohli walk out to bat. Chasing 273 to win in the Delhi decider, India lost Shikhar Dhawan early for 12. Kohli had to come out to bat in just the fifth over when the ball was fairly new. On seeing Kohli, the crowd started chanting his name. It was a sight to savour, literally. But, unfortunately for the Delhi crowd, it was not a good day for their local hero as he was dismissed for 20 off 22 balls.

Here is the video of the Delhi crowd going berserk on witnessing Kohli walk out to bat.

Meanwhile, India lost the match by 35 runs which meant Australia won the five-match bilateral series 3-2.

Usman Khawaja bagged the Man of the Series and Match for his hundred with the bat. For India, there is a lot of thinking to do to get their middle-order in sync ahead of the World Cup. From an Indian point of view, Kohli and the team management needs to fix these problems soon.

It is a massive victory for Australia in the build-up to the World Cup, they will now travel to Dubai to lock horns with Pakistan. The Indian cricketers, on the other hand, will join their respective franchises for the upcoming season of the IPL. IPL begins from 23 rd March.
