5th ODI: Indian captain Virat Kohli was animated like never before during the Delhi decider against Australia. Kohli was spotted giving send-offs and fuming after taking a couple of crucial catches of visiting batsmen. First, it was the dismissal of centurion Usman Khawaja for 100. Kohli standing at cover took the catch after Khawaja drove the ball uppishly off Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Once Kohli took the catch, he threw the ball furiously on the ground. The expression from Kohli also highlighted the importance of Khawaja’s wicket. Soon after that, Maxwell was caught by Kohli again at covers of Jadeja. Kohli was over the moon as he threw the ball in the air.

Meanwhile, Australia has set India a total of 273 to chase. For Australia, Khawaja went onto become the leading run-getter by a visiting batsman in India in a five-match ODI series. For India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar with three wickets was the best bowlers. Jadeja and Shami also contributed with a couple of wickets.
With the series in the line, it is all to play for also keeping in mind this is India’s last ODI ahead of the World Cup later this year.
