5th ODI: India captain Virat Kohli seemed to find something funny during the high-octane decider at Delhi. The incident took place while Jadeja trapped Stoinis on the pads and went up in appeal. The umpire did not raise his finger as he felt there was bat involved. Kohli and Jadeja came in the middle of the pitch and looked to be giggling as they were consulting over should the DRS be taken. Ater a mid-pitch convo, both the cricketers did not go for the DRS as they felt they may be wasting it. Stinis eventually was dismissed for a 27-ball 20. His innings was important as Australia was losing wickets in quick succession and was hoping somebody grinds it out. Also Read - Secret of Virat Kohli's Jersey Number 18 - Numerologist Explains All

Earlier in the day, Australia won the all-important toss in the decider and the openers got the visitors off to a dream start. The openers put on a 76-run-stand to set it up for the middle-order. Khawaja slammed his second century of the series as he scored 100. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the pick of the Indian bowlers as he scalped three wickets as Shami and Jadeja chipped in with two wickets apiece.

Australia posted a decent 272/8 in their stipulated 50 overs. Australia would feel disappointed after the start they got off to.
